Sports & Performance Training

This program, offered by our friends and partners at Athletic Fitness, is an innovative and systematic approach to training that focuses on running form and technique, injury prevention/reduction, linear and lateral speed development, foot speed and agility, explosive power development, proper weight training techniques, and functional strength training. Each workout is 60-90 minutes in duration and will become progressively more challenging as athletes master the techniques.

Meet John

John is a Breaux Bridge native who played football for Texas A&M for two years. After college, he went on to play arena football in Arizona for the next 5 years. Upon returning to Breaux Bridge, John became the football coach at his high school alma mater. During his time there, he developed a strength and conditioning program for the school's football, baseball, and basketball teams. His football team won a state championship, to which he gives partial credit to his conditioning program under his leadership. John has also been a certified personal trainer for 12 years with certifications from NSCA, ISSA, and NESTA.
